8 Dreamy Destinations for Your 2020 Travel Bucket List
Updated: 2020
One of my resolutions for 2020 is to travel more! Throughout this year, I have been adding so many destinations to my bucket list due to the many inspiring photos on Instagram! Since I have never been to any of these destinations, I have included photos and links from my favorite Instagram travelers! So, I have added up the 8 of the most dreamy destinations to add to your 2020 travel bucket list! Hope you enjoy it!
1. Cappadocia, Turkey
Ever since I saw this Hot Air Balloon valley with sunset tones I was obsessed about finding out where this was! I honestly have never seen anything like it, and it is number #1 on my 2020 travel bucket list! Cappadocia is a small village in the Anatolian Plains in Turkey, which is a flight away from Istanbul.
The honeycombed hills and fairy chimneys require the cities to have cave villages! I would love to experience a new night in a cave hotel and watch the sunrise over the beautiful landscape, and of course, have a ride in a hot air balloon!

2. Giraffe Manor, Kenya
The idea of having giraffes join me for breakfast is beyond amazing. Welcome to Giraffe Manor in Nairobi Kenya where giraffes freely roam 140 acres of the sanctuary. The manor has 12 rooms in its 1930 stately facade so the prices are a little steep and booked months in advance, but to experience giraffes up close would be a dream come true!

3. Positano, Italy
I have been dreaming of visiting Positano for months! If you are unfamiliar with Positano, it is a vertical city built on the cliffs of the Almafi Coast. The Almafi coast was mostly known as a small fisherman’s village, but due to the high amount of tourists, it has become a major holiday destination.
The streets are steep and narrow filled with boutiques and cafes. I would love to spend my mornings eating breakfast overlooking the beautiful landscape!

4. Seville, Spain
I completely overlooked visiting Seville when I went to Spain in April. Only after when I came back from Europe, I realized that this city is absolutely stunning. Seville is so rich in history. It is the birthplace of Flamenco dancing and has been a filming location for HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The architecture of the city is stunning, and who doesn’t love an afternoon filled with tapas and sangria?

5. Santorini, Greece
Greece is also at the top of my bucket list. I would love to experience all the islands of Greece, but Santorini would be my top choice. This is the ‘supermodel’ of the Greek islands for the whitewashed buildings, beautiful beaches, local wine, and deep-rooted history. I’d take a Greek vacation any day!

6. Arches & Canyonlands National Parks, Utah
It’s true, I have never been out West in the United States, except for a girl’s weekend in Las Vegas. I have been dying to get out and explore the beauty of the West. These parks have beautiful natural sandstone arches, and sandstone spires. I would love to spend time hiking and exploring for some unforgettable sights.

7. Chefchaouen, Morocco
This small city on the outskirts of Morocco has become extremely popular with tourists due to the fact the whole city is painted blue. Chefchaouen isn’t really known for anything in particular besides being “Morocco’s Blue City”, but I would love to explore, take photos, and experience local food.

8. Dubai, United Arab Emirates
What isn’t there to do in Dubai? From visiting the tallest building in the world- the Burj Khalifa, to exploring grand mosques, riding camels, and taking desert safari rides count me in! This has been on my bucket list for years! I love the versatility of Dubai.
The city brings you modern buildings and experiences, while once in the desert you’ll be surrounded by silence and solitude.

Wow, these are all great destinations. For myself, I would go with Cappadocia in Turkey. The hot air balloon rides for sure, but also some visits to seaside villages (during the warm weather months), and perhaps a food tour and/or a cooking lesson. I like many of the foods they have in Turkey. That said, not a fan of Turkish coffee, would rather go for a cup of tea!
Also high on my bucket list is Iceland. While I understand it is fairly expensive to visit, I think it would be worth the trip. So different from anywhere I am familiar with.
