Staying at the Four Seasons Nevis
With plenty of flights headed to the Caribbean every day, it’s so easy to make a tropical escape. In just a few short hours the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean can be yours. The hardest part is choosing which island and resort to stay in. Here is my experience staying at the Four Seasons Nevis, and why you should consider this resort for your next Caribbean adventure. You will find a tropical escape, warm inviting staff, and the ultimate get-away.
How to Get to the Four Seasons Nevis
To start, Nevis is the smaller island of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Unlike St. Kitts, no cruise ships dock on this island offering a more remote luxurious feel. Getting there requires some extra steps, but the Four Seasons will escort you the entire way.
You should book your flight to SKB, St. Kitt’s local airport that offers direct flights from NYC, Miami, and Atlanta. Once landed in St. Kitts you’ll meet with a Four Seasons representative for a car shuttle to the ferry dock. During this time your luggage will be taken care of and will meet you in your room at the Four Seasons.
My favorite part getting to Nevis was the scenic 15-minute ferry ride along the blue waters sipping on homemade rum punch, an island staple. Once at the Four Seasons, I was warmly welcomed and ushered to my Villa.
Check-In & Property at the Four Seasons Nevis
The Four Seasons Nevis is ongoing a major renovation and just recently finished all the guest rooms on the property, and main lobby space in a neutral design that still inspired by the island.
During summer 2019, the Four Seasons will be renovating the main pool area to a large infinity pool to complete the renovation.
Villa Accommodations
I was situated in a 3BR villa with a private infinity pool right along the golf course. The villa features a full kitchen equipped with everything you’d need to cook with. I loved having this set-up to make my own breakfast and lunch to enjoy at the private pool. There was also ample seating in the living room space with couches, a dining table, and counter seating.
Bedrooms: The Master and second bedroom both have king beds and an en-suite bathroom, while the other bedroom has two full beds. Each of the bathrooms had L’Occitane toiletries for your needs.
Outdoor Space: My favorite part of the villa was the outdoor space that had comfortable seating, a full dining set-up, a private pool, and sun loungers. You could easily relax there while taking in the lush view of the golf course. If you look really closely, you’ll see some Green Vervet Monkeys walking about.
When you rent a villa, you’ll also get access to your own personal golf cart to drive around the resort. The Villas are located just a minute drive from the main lobby and beach.
Villas are perfect for larger groups who want a feeling of home, with the amenities of a hotel. Being able to cook and relax without having to leave your room is a great way to spend long amounts of time.
Food & Beverage Options
There are a few restaurants and bars on property, as well as in-room dining that offer a variety of cuisines.
My favorite restaurant was at Mango, the open-air restaurant right on the beach. Signature dishes include fresh seafood and Caribbean fusion plates with loads of flavor. We also tried out the “Nevisian Margarita” with hits of mango, cilantro, and jalapeño.
Taking in the sunset while dining offers a romantic and relaxed feel. Such a special way to end the evening.
Sundowners Bar: We also enjoyed a sunset happy hour at “Sundowners” right on the dock where you arrive. Anywhere you look you’ll be amazed by the sunset and orange hues coming off Nevis Peak.
The Happy Hour includes 2-for-1 cocktails including rum punch and fresh ceviche! Just look at the amazing sunset we encountered.
Amenities
There is surprisingly so much to do while in Nevis.
On the property, there is an 18-hole golf course, full-service spa, tennis courts, and three pools including one adults-only pool. You can enjoy the sun right on the beach, or you can opt for an all-day beach cabana.
Cabanas are a great option for a full day in the sun offering a TV, comfortable seating, electric outlets to charge your electronics, and a break from the sun. Each cabana includes a few beach chairs so plenty of people can enjoy it.
Service & Hospitality
I must point out the service at this hotel was so friendly and personalized. I noticed staff members addressing guests by name offers such an incredible touch to your stay making you feel right at home.

I would recommend this property to travelers seeking a luxury tropical escape who want a personalized experience. This property was not overly crowded so you can get the relaxation you are looking for, but also high-quality service. The Four Seasons Nevis is a great destination for couples, friends, and even a family get-away.
