The winter months aren’t scary when you’re in the Caribbean! To avoid the harsh cold in New York, I spent a few days at the Hard Rock Punta Cana and just loved it! Here is everything you need to know about staying at the Hard Rock Punta Cana All Inclusive Resort Review.
The Hard Rock Punta Cana Resort
The Hard Rock Punta Cana is an all-inclusive resort located right on the beach in Punta Cana. The resort itself is a destination to visit with over 1,700 rooms, 13 pools, 9 restaurants, endless entertainment, and the largest casino in the Dominican Republic.
The resort is laid out over 121 acres with the majority of restaurants, shopping, and casino located in the main lobby. The guest rooms are spread out between 14 guest buildings. Because the resort is so large, there are free buggies transporting you throughout the resort if needed.
In addition to the stunning beach and pools, there are additional things you can do while at the resort-like bowling, mini-golf, laser tag, and spa services.
I personally liked the size of the resort. It was so large you can spread out and have your own space in paradise.

Thirteen Resort Pools
The Hard Rock has 13 stunning pools to choose from, all with a unique vibe. If you want to party it up, head to the main pool where you’ll have incredible energy, complete with DJ’s and bubble machines. If that is not your scene, you have plenty of other pools to choose from with a relaxed and quiet feel. I personally liked the moon pool! It was spacious and had light music playing, ideal for relaxation.
Punta Cana Beachfront
I can’t get over how beautiful the water is in Punta Cana. The beach had a gorgeous Caribbean teal blue that was so vibrant I couldn’t stop staring. I also have to note that the sand was so soft it felt like a cushion on my feet.
I loved the fact that there were plenty of chairs with tiki umbrellas on the beachfront area. But, they have the option to rent a cabana bed for the day! We opted to go for it and had the best day on the beach.
Our server was so kind and even served our fresh fruits and ceviche. Whether you decide to rent a cabana or use the beach chairs, the beach is one of the prettiest I have seen!
Hard Rock Punta Cana Rooms
There are all kinds of room configurations at the resort depending on your needs. There are a couple of suites, family rooms, or rooms for large groups.
I stayed in the Presidential Suite, and it seriously was fit for my inner rock star! It was a spacious one-bedroom king suite with sunken in the living room, wet bar, two bathrooms, jacuzzi, and private large balcony.
The Presidential Suite also comes with a personal assistant for your needs!
Another awesome feature with staying at the Hard Rock is you can rent out Fender electric guitars to your room! I have no idea how to play, but I had to take advantage.
The verdict is playing guitar is much harder than I imagined, but so glad I got to try it out!

All-Inclusive Options
Restaurants
Food and beverages are included in your room, and there is plenty of restaurants and bars to check out! For breakfast, there is a buffet available in the pool area restaurants.
I loved the fresh selection of fruits, egg and waffle station, and warm plate options like sausage, and potatoes.
For dinner, all the restaurants are open and you can choose from multiple cuisines from Italian, Lebanese, Pizza, Sushi, and Mexican to name a few. I personally liked Ciao, the Italian restaurant.
It was a buffet-style, with a grill for fresh seafood cooked in front of you.
Bars
There are plenty of bars scattered throughout the resort to quench your thirst. I loved the wine options they had available that are included in the all-inclusive rate.
The sparkling wine was crisp and delicious, perfect for a morning mimosa or poolside refresher.
Casino & Entertainment
The Hard Rock Punta Cana has the largest Casino in the Dominican Republic, so it is definitely worth checking out. I am not huge into gambling, but if you are this is definitely a highlight.
Hospitality at the Hard Rock
The service at the Hard Rock Punta Cana was fantastic! From the check-in staff to servers everyone welcomed you and made you feel right at home!

The Hard Rock Punta Cana is perfect for any kind of traveler. If you are a couple, family, or a large group there is plenty to do at the resort. I had an amazing time, and I can’t wait to go back!
