Old Navyās fall new arrivals are officially here, and there are some seriously good finds this season. I went through their latest dresses, sweaters, tops, jackets, pants, and new denim, and so many of these pieces look much more expensive than their Old Navy price tags.
One of the reasons I always come back to Old Navy is the sizing. So many of their pieces are available in petite, regular, and tall lengths, which makes such a difference when youāre trying to get the right fit.
I tried quite a few pieces from the new collection, but these are the 12 Old Navy fall fashion finds that stood out the most. There are some great summer-to-fall pieces you can start wearing now, along with trousers, jackets, and denim that will take you well into the cooler months.
For reference, I’m 5’10 and normally wear a size Large in Old Navy

1. Dark Denim Mini Dress

This denim dress started the entire haul. The dark denim & corduroy collar immediately got me because it looks like something Iād expect to see at Abercrombie for twice the price.
I went with a large regular instead of tall because I actually wanted it a little shorter. Add knee-high boots and your fall outfit is basically done. Bonus: itās 100% cotton.
2. Olive Floral Dress

Such an easy early fall dress. I love the olive floral print, but the best part is the tie in the back that actually gives the dress some shape.
And we love a dress you can wear with a regular bra. No complicated undergarment situation required. I went with a large tall, which was the perfect length on me.
3. Brown Cotton Crewneck Sweater

Okay, THIS COLOR. If you add one basic sweater to your fall wardrobe, make it a rich chocolate brown like this.
Itās 100% cotton, lightweight, and has that slightly oversized, slouchy fit that makes a basic sweater look so much better.
Jeans, trousers, travel days, office outfits…she can do it all.
4. Short-Sleeve Button-Down Sweater

For everyone who wants to dress for fall when itās still 80 degrees outside, I found your sweater.
You get the cozy knit look without committing to a full long-sleeve situation. Itās lightweight, 100% cotton, and the scoop neckline is really flattering.
This would be especially good for that awkward summer-to-fall weather.
5. White Pleated Button-Down Shirt

A white button-down, but much more interesting.
The pleating brings everything in at the waist and gives you that really flattering hourglass shape. I also love this with darker fall denim because it brightens up the whole outfit.
Most importantly, it fit comfortably through my chest AND stomach without any weird button pulling. A win.
Not quite ready for full-on sweater weather? My Amazon early fall outfits are perfect for that in-between season when youāre craving fall fashion but itās still warm outside.
6. Denim Button-Down Shirt

Are we doing denim on denim this fall? Because I vote yes.
This washed denim button-down has that slightly worn-in look that makes it feel way cooler than a basic chambray shirt. I sized down to a medium because Old Navy button-downs tend to run oversized on me.
Wear it with jeans for the full Canadian tuxedo moment or throw it over a white tee and trousers.
7. High-Rise Wide-Leg Trousers

Okay, these pants were one of the best finds of the entire haul.
They look like polished trousers but feel ridiculously comfortable. You have a stretchy waistband, a hidden drawstring, and plenty of stretch throughout the fabric.
I tried both the brown and black, and honestly, both are good. The black would be perfect for the office, while the brown instantly makes a simple fall outfit look more elevated.
Also putting these on my travel-pants list immediately. Theyāre giving airport outfit, but I could also walk straight into a meeting.
8. Sleek Tech Sport Pants

Speaking of travel pants, these might be even comfier.
They basically feel like yoga pants disguised as trousers, which is exactly the kind of trickery I want in my wardrobe.
The fabric is super lightweight with four-way stretch, so these would be especially good for warmer weather, long travel days, or anytime you want to look put together without actually wearing real pants. Florida girls, these are for us.

9. Faux Suede Jacket

Jackets are going to be my entire personality this fall, and this one made the cut. The faux suede jacket looks surprisingly luxe and feels really soft. I also love the bubble hem because it gives a simple jeans-and-a-tee outfit a little more shape.
This is one of those pieces you throw on and suddenly the outfit looks intentional.

10. Olive Utility Jacket

Another jacket I LOVED. The olive green, cropped fit, and contrasting faux leather collar give this olive utility jacket such a cool fall look. Itās also 98% cotton with a little stretch, so it feels really comfortable on.
And thank you, Old Navy, for making it a zipper. Sometimes I simply do not have the patience for 12 buttons.
11. Olive Utility Barrel Pants

Old Navy also made matching utility barrel pants if you want to go all in with the olive green.
They have a stretchy waistband, regular pockets, and utility-style pockets toward the bottom. I especially love these with a simple fitted tee because the pants do all the work.
You could also pair them with the matching jacket for a full monochromatic moment.
12. Mid-Rise Flare Jeans

Plot twist: out of all the new Old Navy jeans I tried, the flares were my favorite.
I really wasnāt expecting that, but these are SO good. They have a subtle flare rather than that dramatic early-2000s flare we all remember, plus a seam running down the front that makes them look extra polished.
Add heeled boots and a sweater and you have such a good fall outfit. They feel a little different from all the wide-leg jeans weāve been wearing, but still incredibly wearable.
If youāre only trying one pair from Old Navyās new fall denim collection, Iād start here.

Final Thoughts
Old Navy really surprised me with their fall collection this year. The wide-leg trousers, travel pants, jackets, and flare jeans were easily my biggest standouts, but there are so many good basics and transitional pieces mixed in too.
