Finding 100% cotton clothing on Amazon is much harder than you would think. Search for a cotton sweater or top and you’ll find plenty of options, but once you check the actual fabric composition, so many are poly blends.

So, I did the digging for you! I searched through tons of Amazon fall fashion finds, checked the fabric composition, and actually ordered and tried everything myself. I wanted pieces that not only used cotton and natural fibers, but also fit well, felt good, and looked more expensive than they were.

Most of these finds are 100% cotton, with a few cotton-linen blend options mixed in. And most importantly, these are pieces that are actually cute and you’ll want to wear!

1. 100% Cotton Batwing Top

This 100% cotton top is under $30 and was one of my immediate favorites. The fabric is soft, breathable, and drapes beautifully without feeling heavy or bulky, making it a great transitional piece for early fall.

I also love the batwing silhouette. Wear it loose with jeans, tuck it into trousers for the office, or dress it up for dinner. I’m wearing a size large and found it true to size.

2. 100% Cotton Cable Knit Sweater

This is basically the quintessential fall sweater. It’s a classic 100% cotton cable knit, was under $30 when I tried it, and comes in several colors including ivory, navy, teal, and burgundy.

The length is especially good. It isn’t cropped or overly long, so it works beautifully with jeans or trousers. The classic cable knit texture gives you all the cozy fall vibes without a huge price tag.

3. 100% Cotton Striped Boatneck Sweater

Another great 100% cotton sweater is this lighter-weight striped knit. The exaggerated boat-style neckline makes it more interesting than a basic crewneck, and the fabric is light enough to easily tuck into jeans or trousers.

Of course, I went for the brown stripe. I love it paired with denim, cream, or even more brown for a tonal fall outfit.

4. 100% Cotton Contrast-Trim Cardigan

This 100% cotton contrast trim cardigan was my surprise find of the entire try-on. I wasn’t convinced when I took it out of the package, but the second I put it on, I loved it.

The contrast trim and black buttons give it a chic, almost French-inspired look that feels much more expensive than it is. I also have a larger chest and had no issues with pulling or button gaping in my normal size large.

5. Cotton Funnel-Neck Jacket

Important fabric note for this funnel neck jacket: the exterior is 100% cotton, but the lining is polyester. I didn’t realize this until I actually received the jacket, which is exactly why I check these pieces myself.

That said, I was really impressed by the substantial weight and quality for under $60. The funnel neck gives it a current look that fits right in with the fall fashion trends for 2026, and there are buttons in the back to cinch the waist. My size large was slightly oversized, so size down if you prefer a more fitted look.

6. Quilted Cotton Jacket

This quilted cotton jacket also has a 100% cotton exterior with a polyester lining, so keep that in mind if you’re avoiding synthetics completely.

I originally tried it in green and liked it enough to order the ivory too. The contrasting corduroy collar and cuffs give it an English countryside feel, while the quilted interior provides a little extra warmth for those perfect fall jacket days.

7. 100% Cotton Denim Button-Front Top

I tried a similar Madewell denim top for around $100, but this denim long-sleeve is the $30 Amazon version is the one I’d personally buy. It’s exactly the kind of piece I love including in my Amazon look-for-less finds.

It’s 100% cotton with real front buttons, a slightly cropped fit, and a rich dark denim wash. The fabric even felt surprisingly similar to the more expensive version, although the Madewell top was slightly thicker.

8. Levi’s 501 100% Cotton Jeans

I couldn’t talk about my favorite 100% cotton clothing on Amazon without including Levi’s. The classic 501s are made from rigid 100% cotton denim, so don’t expect the stretch you get from jeans with elastane.

The rise sits a little lower than my beloved Levi’s Ribcage jeans, making these a great option if you don’t want an ultra-high rise. They also have the classic button fly, which I find gives you a really secure, held-in fit.

9. Cotton-Linen Button-Front Top

Not every fall outfit needs a sweater, especially if you live somewhere warm. This cotton-linen blend gives you the fall look while still feeling lightweight and breathable.

I previously tried it in ivory, but this brown-cargo shade feels perfect for fall. I especially love how it covers the shoulders and cinches at the waist for more definition.

10. 100% Cotton Peplum Button-Down

I love that we’re seeing more fitted button-down shirts again. This one is made from 100% cotton poplin with a peplum-style waist that creates more shape than a traditional oversized button-down.

As someone with a larger bust, I especially appreciate the waist definition. It’s an easy piece to wear with jeans, trousers, or layered underneath a fall jacket.

11. 100% Cotton Cargo Pants

Amazon pants can be very hit or miss for me, so I was genuinely surprised by how much I liked these. They’re 100% cotton with a relaxed cargo silhouette and slight balloon shape that gives them a cool, modern look.

I’m 5’10” and would personally love another inch or two of length, so these should work especially well if you’re shorter than me. I ordered my usual Amazon size XL and found them true to size.

12. 100% Cotton Mock-Neck Sweater

There’s something about a mock neck that instantly makes an outfit feel more sophisticated. This 100% cotton sweater was under $35 when I tried it and has a slightly speckled knit that gives the fabric more dimension.

It’s not overly thick or bulky, so it falls nicely on the body and is easy to pair with jeans or trousers throughout fall.

13. 100% Cotton Polka-Dot Tie-Side Top

This is one I can really vouch for this cotton polka dot top. I wore it to brunch in New York, walked around the city, and even biked through Central Park in it. It’s comfortable, 100% cotton, and the real side ties make it feel much more special than a basic top.

I’ve also washed it since. I air-dried it and didn’t notice any shrinkage, which is exactly the kind of thing you can’t tell from an Amazon listing. I’m wearing my normal size large.

Why Is It So Hard to Find 100% Cotton Clothing on Amazon?

Finding 100% cotton clothing on Amazon is surprisingly difficult. Even when you search for cotton sweaters, tops, or natural fiber clothing, many of the results are actually blends containing polyester, acrylic, or other synthetic materials.

I dug through individual listings, checked the fabric composition, ordered the pieces, and actually tried everything myself. I even found jackets with 100% cotton exteriors that turned out to have polyester linings once they arrived.
