Quince Linen Review: I Tried Every Piece — Here Are the 10 I’d Buy Again

If you’ve ever shopped at Quince, you’ve probably noticed they have a lot of linen. Shirts, tanks, dresses, shorts, pants, vests… it can be hard to know what’s actually worth buying.
I’ve been wearing Quince linen for years and have packed it for trips to Italy, worn it on long-haul flights, and washed it countless times. Some pieces have become summer staples that I own in multiple colors, while others don’t get nearly as much wear.
In this Quince linen review, I’m sharing the pieces that have consistently earned a spot in my wardrobe, along with the ones I think are actually worth buying.

How I Tested
Before recommending these pieces, I’ve worn them over multiple summers, packed them for trips to Italy and the Amalfi Coast, washed them dozens of times, and styled them for everything from sightseeing to dinners out. These aren’t first impressions. They’re the pieces I continue reaching for year after year.

Now let’s get into my Quince linen review, and the pieces I think are actually worth buying.
For reference, I’m 5’10”, typically wear a size 12/14, usually order a size Large in Quince tops, and have a fuller bust.
European Linen Crop Tank
The linen cropped tank is hands down one of my most-worn Quince tops. I own it in several colors and find myself reaching for it constantly throughout the summer.
The cropped length works perfectly with high-waisted linen pants and shorts, while the slightly looser fit keeps it comfortable even on extremely hot days.
Compared to the standard linen tank, I find the crop tank less restrictive under the arms and more flattering overall.
If you’re deciding between the two tank styles, this is personally the one I would choose.
European Linen Long Sleeve Shirt
The European Linen Long Sleeve Shirt is the definition of a summer wardrobe staple. I own it in multiple colors and wear it constantly. Whether I’m wearing it fully buttoned or open over a tank top, it’s one of those pieces that always works.
The fit is semi-relaxed without feeling oversized. I wear a size Large and find it true to size. As someone with a larger bust, I appreciate that it doesn’t pull across the chest and still feels comfortable throughout the day.
The value is there. Similar linen shirts from retailers like J.Crew or Banana Republic can easily cost well over $100. Quince consistently offers this style for under $50, making it one of the best values in their entire linen collection.
European Linen Popover Top
The Linen Popover Top is one of my most-worn Quince pieces. It’s the kind of top that always looks polished, whether I’m wearing it with linen trousers for dinner or shorts on vacation.
I own it in multiple colors, but the black version is by far my favorite. The relaxed fit, effortless silhouette, and flattering V-neck make it an easy piece to throw on when I want to look put together without much effort.
If you’re building a linen capsule wardrobe, this is one of the first pieces I’d recommend. Fits true to size. I wear it in a size large.
European Linen Pull-On Shorts
Out of all the linen shorts Quince offers, these pull-on shorts are the pair I wear the most.
The Pull-On Shorts have a longer 5-inch inseam, which I personally find much easier to wear than shorter styles. At 5’10”, I appreciate the extra coverage, especially for travel days, sightseeing, running errands, or simply walking around town.
The elastic waistband is comfortable without feeling restrictive, and I love how easy they are to pair with tanks, button-downs, and linen tops. I own them in multiple colors and find myself packing them for nearly every warm-weather trip.
If you are taller or prefer a longer inseam, these are the shorts I recommend.
European Linen Shorts
However, if you prefer a shorter, more traditional summer short, the European Linen Shorts are Quince’s classic silhouette.
They feature a drawstring waistband, a 3.25-inch inseam, and exterior patch pockets, giving them a more casual and relaxed feel. On me, they definitely read as a shorter short due to my height, so I tend to wear them for beach days, pool days, or quick errands rather than dressier occasions.
The fit is comfortable, lightweight, and breathable, which is exactly what I want from linen during the summer. While I personally reach for the Pull-On Shorts more often, these are still a great option if you prefer a shorter inseam and a classic drawstring style.
European Linen Wide Leg Pant
The European Linen Wide Leg Pant is my go-to casual pull-on linen pant style. In fact, these are the linen pants I reach for most often when traveling in summer because they’re lightweight, breathable, and incredibly comfortable.
These have a relaxed, wide-leg silhouette with an adjustable drawstring waist, giving them that effortless vacation feel. I especially love that they’re available in 3 multiple inseam lengths: 26, 28, and 30 inches.
As someone who is 5’10”, I opt for the longest 30-inch inseam. However, I do wish they had an even longer option, but 30 inches comes right up to my ankle.

European Linen Trouser Pant
The Linen Trouser Pant strikes the perfect balance between polished and comfortable. Unlike many linen pants that lean very casual, these feel elevated enough to wear to dinner, the office, or even more dressed-up summer events.
The pleated front, wide-leg silhouette, and belt loops make them feel incredibly sophisticated.
I also appreciate that the lighter colors are lined, which helps minimize transparency and creates a more polished look overall.
I wear a size 14 and find them true to size. The 30-inch inseam works great for my height, and I constantly find myself styling these with tanks, linen shirts, and lightweight sweaters.
European Linen Popover Dress
The Linen Popover Dress is that girl! If you want an effortless throw-on-and-go style, this is it.
It’s relaxed without feeling shapeless, comfortable without looking overly casual, and incredibly versatile. I’ve worn it as a beach cover-up, sightseeing outfit, travel dress, and casual dinner option.
What I love most is how easy it is to wear. The silhouette skims the body without clinging. The white version is also lined, which makes it much less sheer than many white linen dresses I’ve tried from other brands.
If you’re looking for one easy summer dress you’ll wear over and over again, this is a fantastic choice. Runs true to size.
European Linen Square Neck Dress
This is one of the prettiest linen dresses Quince makes.
The square neckline feels timeless and feminine, while the fitted bodice and flared skirt create a really flattering silhouette. It gives you shape without feeling overly fitted, which is something I always appreciate in a summer dress.
I actually packed this dress on a trip to Italy and found myself wearing it repeatedly for dinners and evenings out.
The adjustable straps are a thoughtful detail and make it easy to customize the fit. Every time I wear this dress, I feel instantly put together and classy.
European Linen Strapless Dress
I waited way too long to order this dress. For some reason, I wasn’t sure how a strapless linen dress would fit, especially with a fuller bust, but it completely exceeded my expectations.
The fit is flattering through the bodice and gently flows out through the skirt, creating a shape that feels comfortable and feminine, without the tug at the stomach. The pockets are an added bonus!

Based on my Quince linen review, is Quince linen worth it?
In my opinion, yes. After trying dozens of Quince linen pieces, I continue to be impressed by the quality, fit, and value compared to other retailers that often charge significantly more. You can find classic silhouettes that won’t break the bank.

Is Quince linen see-through?
Some of the lighter colors can be slightly sheer, but many of Quince’s white & flax linen pieces, like the linen trousers and dresses, include a lining. I typically recommend nude undergarments with lighter linen pieces, particularly the tops.
Does Quince linen shrink?
Short answer, no. From my experience, none of my Quince linen pieces has shrunk. I wash my Quine linen in the washing machine and air-dry it.
Which Quince linen piece should I buy first?
