I’ve spent thousands of dollars on Quince jewelry, all ordered online without ever seeing or trying on a single piece first.

And I’ll admit, I was definitely a little skeptical at first.

I’ve tried all kinds of Quince pieces over the years, from their $50 cashmere to their leather bags, but it was their fine jewelry that really intrigued me.

It started when I wanted to treat myself to a diamond tennis bracelet for my birthday and found Quince had one for nearly 40% less than similar styles I’d been eyeing. I decided to go for it.

Well, one piece clearly turned into several. I now own two tennis bracelets, two diamond rings, a pair of diamond studs, and a diamond solitaire necklace from Quince, so I have a lot of thoughts.

In this honest Quince jewelry review, I’m sharing everything I own, what the pieces actually look like in person, how they’ve held up, my experience ordering and exchanging pieces, and most importantly, whether I think Quince fine jewelry is actually worth the money.

Lab Grown Diamond Tennis Bracelet (4 Carat vs 7 Carat)

This is the purchase that started it all. I bought the 4-carat lab grown diamond tennis bracelet as a birthday present to myself, and I’ll admit, I was a little nervous making such a big jewelry purchase online.

When it arrived, though, I was immediately impressed. The bracelet was beautiful, incredibly sparkly, and came with its IGI certification.

I loved the bracelet so much that I eventually went back for the 7-carat version. The 4 carat is my favorite for everyday wear because it’s substantial without feeling too bold, while the 7 carat has noticeably more presence and is gorgeous for evenings. I also love stacking the two when I want even more sparkle.

I also love how secure the bracelet feels on my wrist. It has a box clasp with an additional safety clasp, so even if the main clasp were to loosen, you have that extra layer of security to help keep the bracelet in place.

If you’re deciding between them, I think the 4 carat is the perfect everyday size, while the 7 carat gives you more of a statement look.

Lab Grown Diamond Oval Seven Stone Band Ring (2 Carat)

By far, one of my favorite Quince jewelry purchases is this 2-carat oval seven-stone diamond band. The oval diamonds are so elegant and unique, and there’s something almost princess-like about it. It makes such a statement and the sparkle is incredible. If you’re looking for a showstopper, this is it.

I originally bought it as an everyday ring, and when it arrived, I was surprised by just how substantial the 2 carats looked on my hand. Quince does offer a smaller 1-carat version, but I like to go big, and I’m so glad I did. I now wear this ring every single day.

I loved it so much that it actually led me to my next purchase, a more understated 0.5-carat diamond pavé band for the days when I wanted something a little more delicate.

Lab Grown Diamond Pave Band Ring (0.5 Carat)

After going bold with the 2-carat ring, I wanted something a little more delicate for everyday wear, and this 0.5-carat diamond pavé band is the perfect balance. It’s dainty and elegant but still has a beautiful amount of sparkle.

The diamonds only go halfway around the band, so I do find that the ring occasionally spins on my finger and I have to adjust it. Quince also offers an eternity pavé band with diamonds around the entire ring, which may be a better option if you don’t want to worry about constantly adjusting it.

And ironically, despite buying this as my more understated option, I now love stacking it with my 2-carat oval band for even more sparkle. Apparently, subtle didn’t last very long!

Lab Grown Diamond Martini Stud Earrings (3 Carat)

I already own 2-carat total weight diamond studs, but I wanted something bigger for evenings. Martini studs caught my eye because the three-prong setting lets the diamonds sit closer to the ear with less metal showing, creating a more seamless look while really letting the diamonds shine.

Naturally, I went big and ordered the 4-carat total weight, but they were simply too large for my smaller earlobes.

After exchanging them for the 3-carat total weight, I knew this size was perfect for me. They catch the light beautifully and have become my go-to earrings for dinners and evening events. I’ll share more about that exchange process below.

I also love how secure the backs feel. Mine have locking earring backs with side tabs that you pinch to release, so they stay firmly in place and help prevent the larger diamonds from drooping.

14K Gold Lab Grown Diamond Solitaire Pendant Necklace (2 Carat)

My most recent Quince jewelry purchase was this beautiful 2-carat lab grown diamond solitaire pendant. I was deciding between the 1 and 2 carat, and as you’ve probably noticed by now, I tend to go bigger, so naturally I chose the 2 carat.

When it arrived, I was surprised by how substantial the diamond looked in person, but definitely not in a bad way. It’s gorgeous and makes the perfect statement for an evening look, especially with a V-neckline where the diamond can really stand out.

For me, the 2 carat feels more like a statement piece, although that certainly doesn’t stop me from wearing it during the day. If you’re looking for something a little more subtle and everyday, I’d probably go with the 1-carat version.

What Buying Quince Jewelry Online Is Really Like

After ordering thousands of dollars’ worth of Quince jewelry online, I’ve found the process to be surprisingly simple. Their product pages have plenty of images, measurements, and customer reviews that can help you get a better idea of how each piece looks in real life.

The hardest part? Figuring out what size will actually look best on you.

Choosing the Right Diamond Carat Size

For me, this has been the hardest part of buying Quince jewelry online. Even with product photos and models wearing the pieces, it can be difficult to tell exactly how a certain carat weight is going to look on you.

Everyone has different hands, wrists, and ears, so the same diamond can look completely different from person to person.

I learned this firsthand with a pair of diamond martini studs. I initially ordered the 4-carat total carat weight, and when they arrived, they were absolutely gorgeous. The sparkle was incredible, but they were simply too large for my ear shape and looked more oversized than I wanted.

So I ended up sending them back and exchanging them for a different size.

What Is the Quince Jewelry Return and Exchange Process Like?

This was one of my biggest questions before buying expensive jewelry online, and I’m happy to report that initiating my return was just as easy as returning a $50 sweater. I didn’t have to jump through a bunch of hoops or explain why I didn’t want the piece.

The difference is how long it can take to actually complete the return or exchange.

When I exchanged my earrings, it took about two full weeks after sending them back to receive my replacement. Once Quince received my return, the verification process alone took more than five days, followed by processing and shipping the new pair.

Because of that experience, if I wanted a different size again, I personally would return the original piece and place a separate order for the new one rather than waiting for an exchange.

You would temporarily have more money tied up while waiting for the refund, but if I needed the jewelry for a birthday, wedding, or another special occasion, I’d rather know the replacement was already on its way.

How Long Does Quince Jewelry Take to Ship?

I’ve actually been really impressed with Quince’s shipping. They give you an estimated delivery date when you order, and in my experience, my jewelry has often arrived sooner than expected.

Some pieces do take longer, especially custom or made-to-order jewelry like personalized necklaces. If you’re buying something for a birthday or special occasion, definitely check the estimated delivery date on the individual product page before ordering.

What Does Quince Jewelry Packaging Look Like?

Quince jewelry arrives in a regular shipping box, and inside you’ll find a simple black cardboard jewelry box with a soft velvet interior. It’s nice and protective, but don’t expect an elaborate luxury unboxing experience with a heavy or felt-lined jewelry box.

Personally, I don’t mind the simple packaging because the focus here is really on the jewelry itself. But it’s worth knowing what to expect, especially if you’re ordering a piece as a gift.

The ordering process itself is easy. The biggest challenge is making sure you’re ordering the right size and scale for you.

• Earrings: Pay attention to both the carat weight and measurements. What looks proportional on a model may look completely different on your ears.
• Rings: Measure the exact finger you plan to wear the ring on. I use an inexpensive ring sizer from Amazon to be sure.
• Bracelets: Measure your wrist rather than assuming a standard bracelet size will give you the fit you want.
• Special occasions: Give yourself extra time in case you decide you want a different size and need to return or exchange it.
